What We Do
Before the cucumbers get to your plate, there are several processes that are involved within our glasshouses and packhouses. The processes include high standards of seedlings, planting methods, and modernised technology, equipment and machinery. The nurturing process and maintenance of the plants and fruits involve utmost attention and care.
GROWING AND HARVESTING
It is always a busy environment within glasshouses daily. Tasks include crop preparation, planting, pruning, clipping, etc...
PACKING AND GRADING
Our packhouse, as stated, has modernised grading and packing systems. Passion Fresh, being a brainchild of Aries to use modern technology, has a robust modern packhouse, with automated grading, sorting, sealing and packing systems, that includes the Qpack system which fills crates to specified sizes and required quantities. The conveyor system feeds from grading stage, to palletising.
